The Gordon Ramsay site is very impressive i like the balance and structre. There is a left aligned vertical menu which categorises all the restaurants in the ramsay empire. This menu bar is a running theme though all of the website. There is a sub menu which is top centred and this menu is in relation to the spefific restaurant.
Alse when you click on a spefific restaurant the colour theme changes is relation to the ethos of the restaurant, very suttle and effictive. For example the foxt rotoscar restaurant the colour theme is black so automically i get the impression the restaurant is mellow classy bit and abit 'oldskool' on the other hand i go onto the planefood pages and the colour theme is metalic silver which says to me modern slick and informal.

100% flash made but the website could of easily been done using CSS and HTML. The site of no dynamic effecs or runtime elements though website structure is OK with navigation bar at the top and the main content below .
The website is suppose to being selling and promoting a indian restaurant but there are no elements of indian food or culture.
Overall the website is dull and lacks personality class and depth. The site did not get me interested in Memsaab.
Harts reminds me very much of the Gordon Ramsay website were the colours are very strong and solid witha pale grey to compliment it.
I like the theme; slick classy almost timeless. The hart website is very nice, easy to navigation, clean and everything as a purpose, though it does not have as much character as the ramsay website never the less the site is still high-quality .

Like this website the branding the balanced the flash animation at the top. Really slick site and i would like to take some of the elements used in TGI website into my website. The ethos of the site is fun young and american. The website could of easily been over the top and tacky with too much animation but the site its very suttle and well balanced.
Terrible website. It is ugly cheap unstylish. Overall it is a very bad website, the structure and balance is just not there. The website is something i would of created 2 years ago when i was doing BTEC Diploma.
I intend to improve this website.
